with boyfriend, a turtle, a snake, a salamander, a gang of frogs, and soon some fish and a gecko.
Devin has lived on the East side all his life, but this is my first year on this side of town… and I like it, so far. It isn’t ghetto like South Park St, but not crazy wealthy like the Vilas neighborhood, not college-y like the Downtown area, and not obscure like the North side. The East side has a bit of everything: old hippies, young hipsters, punks, professionals, food co-ops, local restaurants, dark, dingy bars, and generally a nice, welcoming feel and a close proximity to all the places you want to be in Madison.

Ahaha! Awesome! I hope to visit you guys sometime in the near future!
I do not espy the Keroppi pillow in these photos (the place looks very nice, regardless). Also, I am probably not going to be back in the Midwest until January.
hehe. The Keroppi pillow is happily nestled on the right arm of our futon in the living room, and has been well-hugged since he arrived. It’s really cute actually, with all the real frogs of the house.
and boo to being back after Thanksgiving AND Christmas. It’s going to be hellava lonely Holiday without you.
I am definitely not back for Thanksgiving, but I’m not sure about Christmas, yet. I’ll let you know what my plans are when everything is figured out.
Wow. Your place is beautiful! So was the postcard from China–I just got it yesterday. Thanks much!
You’re welcome! And thank you, too, about the house. Come visit whenever you feel compelled.
